Great house, great location, great host. Kitchen has everything. Couch is expandable and comfortable. Fireplace is impressive, plenty of firewood. Dining room has a great table and chandelier. View of the lake from each bedroom. Bathroom on each level is convenient. Hot tub seemed like a top quality unit. The basement is well setup. The dock is really nice and a great place to meditate and watch the sunset, or take a polar plunge 😉.
We were there in November, it was cold and perfectly quiet. This place is a top rental candidate for warm weather seasons. Nice large deck with comfy furniture, dining table, and umbrellas, nice grill(s). Another dining table on ground floor patio. Fire pit. Kayaks. Great swimming location. Dock a boat. Many outdoor chairs and recliners. Place has everything, well designed, great location, and great for a couple or multiple families. Reserve it.

Another wonderful stay!
This was our second time staying at this beautiful house and we were not disappointed. This home is beautiful and cozy and extremely clean. The owners are wonderful to work with and extremely responsive. We had one small issue no fault of the owners and they responded immediately and helped us out. Once again we had a perfect stay

Return to Lake Henry
We have spent 40 years vacationing on Lake Henry with the exception of four summers when our travels took us on other adventures around the country and abroad. But, no matter what new vistas we experienced Lake Henry is our absolute favorite getaway in the world. This summer was no exception when we enjoyed everything THE SUNSET SANCTUARY had to offer. A beautiful house, lacking nothing for our comfort and pleasure. The view of Lake Henry from the house or dock is the best for this gem of a private lake.
The sad part was having to leave Shag-gri-La.
But, in the words of MacArthur, "We shall return." Again and again, we hope. RS & family.

The home and location were stunning and peaceful. Weather wasn’t great but the kids still swam and were able to warm up in the hot tub between dips. Plenty of kayaks and a sup board for us all to enjoy right by the water. When we were indoors we found it cozy and a great place to relax, eat and play games together.

Lovely place on the lake. Plenty of room for 6 of us. Enjoyed daily kayaking, swimming in the lake and most of all the peace and quiet.
The house was clean and had everything we needed including basic necessities.
The owners were informative, attentive and thoughtful including local recs and a basket of goodies at check in.

Beautiful place on a very tranquil lake! We brought up our own boat for fishing and water skiing and tubing, and this place was our home base for 4 nights! Our 19, 16 year old boys caught tons of pickerel, bass, and crappies fish! They had the best time also learning to water ski, and tube from the boat. The house is beautiful, and sits at the most perfect spot on the lake for swimming, fishing and all water activities. This is a super quiet lake, not like the big one nearby where you hear motors and jet skis all day and night. The house is clean, modern and has all you need! The AC worked great, kept us cool in the evenings. The hot tub and with the pool table were an added bonus! Sunset cruises on the boat every evening and just sitting on the big deck with a cup of coffee makes this the place to come and relax, unplug and be in nature! Thanks so much for the great stay. Host is super responsive and easy to deal with!

The lake. My son caught over 40 fish from the dock.
Any issues with I didn’t like the staff was able to rectify and fix.
Was even offered a refund for 50 percent one night stay for inconvenience.

Great weekend getaway
Terrific house with amazing views. Was able to take a long weekend Getaway with the family. Kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, campfires and an amazing hot tub. Was exactly what our family needed. Definitely interested in coming back.

Our Anniversary getaway
I will start out by saying how sweet our host Christianne was; she answered all of our questions very fast. Also accommodated our needs in the house we stayed in by adding baby proofing needs which helped us immensely so we didn't have to bring a travel crib!

Amazing Quiet and Comfortable Family Spot
Stayed with our 4 kids (3-14) and had a blast!!! Check in and communication with host beforehand were great and the host was very responsive!! Brought our own boat and had so much fun cruising the lake and catching lots of fish!! We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and the open spaces so we could all enjoy each other. The lake was very quiet and had a small town kinda feel. The house was very clean and had all the necessities as well as ample stuff for the kids—crib, games, baby gates etc…stores for incidentals were readily accessible too!! Would def come back again…wonderful time!!!

Perfectly Relaxing & Rejuvenating
A wonderful, peaceful, refreshing week! Our favorite thing was taking chairs out on the dock to watch wildlife first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. We also enjoyed using the fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. The owner thoughtfully provided a large stack of covered wood, as well a nicely stocked kitchen. The house was clean, comfortable and well situated. Communication was great and helpful information was much appreciated. Thank you!

Amazing lake house. Everything was super clean and I appreciate it. The host is very responsive and helpful. The kitchen has all the appliances. The hot tub is amazing, and the view is extraordinary. We loved every moment of it even tho it was super cold outside. And the house was really warm, we enjoyed the view with the fireplace. I highly recommend it!

Everything we could’ve needed was there The host was extremely responsive and helpful anytime we reached out. Most important to me the house was immaculately clean. We felt very comfortable there. Let me just start out by saying I've stayed at a decent amount of places in the Pocono area and surrounding and pretty much all of them aren't the cleanest or well kept. This place was different, I was actually shocked on how clean it was compared to other places I've stayed and it was in a nice peaceful area and the views were incredible. Everything in the pictures are as it is in real life(another shocker). Overall I would absolutely stay here again and would reccomend it to anyone looking for a more modern updated place to stay.

This house is amazing! We had a great extended weekend on Lake Henry. The hosts are very accommodating and made the trip easy. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. The view of the lake is perfect. It was great that they delivered a full load of firewood while we were there and we enjoyed the fireplace. Sitting in the spa was so nice too. We love this house and we will be back.

We spent a lot of time enjoying the surroundings and homecooked meals, the latter made easy by the very well-stocked kitchen. The yard was great for our 2 dogs and very private. All communications were handled quickly and professionally. I cannot think of anything that could be improved upon - highly recommend.

Peaceful and Gorgeous!
Friend celebrating a friend's birthday at this gorgeous house. Private yet close to everything we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and we used the fireplace and the fire pit. Plenty of space for more than 3 women. Our host could not have been more accommodating, including mailing back an item we left behind. 10 stars just for her!!! We hope to go back again soon!

House was clean, well designed, and had everything we needed for our stay (kitchen well equipped for cooking). Pictures are very accurate. Communications and instructions from the host were clear. The view of the lake is amazing and everyone in our group (including our dog!) greatly enjoyed our stay.

We had a perfect stay. The communication and assistance from Christianne and Chase was second-to-none. The home was spotlessly clean, and they don't use the plug-in "air fresheners" that instantly ruin a stay for me. That's because everything actually IS clean!
The beds were really comfy, and every room has its own mini-split air conditioner, so you can have your environment just the way you like it.
And of course, the lake and the surroundings are gorgeous.

Perfect place to make memories
Lake house was clean and beautiful with a wonderful view of the lake. We made some very nice memories with our family with game night during a stormy evening to relaxing on the peaceful lake during the day with our pool floats and exploring the lake with the canoes provided. Dogs loved the lake as well! House very well equipped with all your cooking needs! Grocery store was close as well as a couple of restaurants if looking to order or eat out.

Amazing Getaway
This property was just as pictured...amazing! We had a fabulous stay at this lake front property and plan to return. This quiet lake was perfect for kayaking, boating, & fishing.Our host provided several little perks from a goodie basket upon arrival to travel size toothpaste, deodorant, and more which was a very nice touch! My family enjoyed the pool table and big screen TV during the evening and I enjoyed taking in the sounds of nature from the well maintained dock. Our 2 dogs enjoyed their stay also.

Relaxing week on the lake
Our family of 4 spent a week at this lakehouse. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated, in addition to being very clean and well organized.
We enjoyed the views of the lake and beautiful sunsets from the house and on the dock. Fishing was good, we caught pickerel, bass, crappy, and sunfish. We had some hot days, and the mini-splits kept the house cool. Christianne was promptly responsive and helpful both before and during our trip. Thank you for a great week!

We brought the family up to Christianne’s house to celebrate my daughter graduating College and was not disappointed. The house was beautiful and clean and we received great communication about checking in which made the process really easy. Everything we needed was provided and the lake views and dock were spectacular, we stayed for 3 nights and each sunset was more stunning than the last. Christianne was a great host and responded almost immediately with any questions we had, we would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely DELIGHTFUL stay at Christianne’s home. The house is truly spectacular and the location on the lake is simply off the charts! Each bedroom allows you to wake up with a stunning view of the lake. It is just beyond peaceful. The house is immaculate and exquisitely designed. Each room has exactly what it needs & nothing more and the decor is exceedingly well done. Christianne was incredibly responsive and super helpful throughout our stay. The only “bad” thing was that we had to actually leave this phenomenal house on Sunday and head home! We certainly plan to spend more weekends there in the future starting hopefully with a summer weekend!

What a beautiful house this is!!! Right on the lake and house has everything you could need. Loved the cozy fireplace and had fun playing pool. Bedrooms are perfect size and the top floor has a huge bedroom with king bed. Full baths on every floor which was so convenient. Lake setting is absolutely beautiful. Host was extremely responsive to all our questions. House has everything you could possibly need. Recommend 100%. We will be going back!!

Staying at Christianne’s house was wonderful. When we walked in the house felt clean and homey. Christianne was a great host and communication was always fast. It isn’t the most kid friendly place due to the stairs, but my 2.5 year old stayed away and we just kept a close eye on her. The home was equipped with all the essentials.
The location is great being quiet enough where you’re away from all of the Poconos tourism, but it’s convenient for skiing at Montage Mt. or a night out in Scranton. We will definitely be back.

This is certainly not your average Airbnb. The house is absolutely stunning and this lake is gorgeous. Really enjoyed the pool table, fire place, and amazing sunsets. Plus, getting to watch Bald Eagles flying over the lake was awesome! Already planning another trip (or two) back this summer!

We were in town for the opening of the ski…
We were in town for the opening of the ski season and chose this spot as it was close to both Montage and Elk Mountains which we love.
The house and location are even more stunning then the photos and made us feel we were in an upscale lodge.
The open fire just added to the cozy feel; not that we needed it for warmth as the whole place is nice and toasty despite the below freezing weather we experienced.
There had been a recent snow storm but the driveway and pathways were nice and cleared when we arrived so no problem getting in or out.
The downstairs area with the pool table was a great place to hang in the evening and I could imagine it being a great entertaining area when there is a group or family; creating a quiet space upstairs for sleeping kids etc.
It is such a peaceful spot and we were so impressed we are planning to book again in summer and take advantage of the lake!
