Crislip Cafe

This is the sort of cafe you wanted to find when you were going through your “artist phase.” Tucked away in a cute little arcade, draped in a touch of Boho chic, run by approachable staff and providing just enough room to fill up quickly–you can certainly do worse than to stop by Crislip cafe and soak in the atmosphere. I only had time to try one brew, and if you’re into chocolate and spice, the Black Magic Woman did not disappoint. Sipping this thing reminded me of getting to the bottom of my ramen bowl after seasoning it with chili powder every other bite — we reached inner-ear-tingle level of heat! I’m definitely looking forward to trying another one of their interesting creations next time I stop by St. Pete.

Kooky Coconut

Hidden gem that has been in the area forever. The food is good here, and it’s one of our favorite places to grab some ice cream to eat on the beach. There is a small beach access that you can walk through to get onto Indian Rocks Beach.

DeLukas Restaurant & Bar

Beautiful interior with outdoor patio seating. Very nice atmosphere and pleasing ambiance. Throughout the restaurant there are nice smelling candles and clean bathrooms. Live pianist plays some Saturdays. Service is excellent (we had Ned as our waiter) and a wide selection of wine and drinks. Fresh hot served bread was the best I’ve had around. The food is very tasty and delicious. Creamy mashed potatoes and tender meats. From the minute we walked in we were impressed and throughout our meal and dining we were very satisfied. We will definitely be retuning!
