Had to pay my compliments to everyone at zydeco that helped me with my private event. Josh, the GM was outstanding with communication and helping us pull the event together. I was really impressed with his level of attention to us and making sure we were super happy.
Another huge shout out to our bartenders Emily and Rachel for catering to our entire 50-60 person party. No doubt that’s a tall order but everyone left happy and impressed with the service. Lastly, not to leave out the cooks with their fantastic food and other support staff who ran food and drinks, thank you. My 40th birthday was truly one to remember. I resoundingly recommend zydeco and their beautiful private event space upstairs for your next event.

The Gator Club
Checked out Johnny Diamond at Gators last month and had to stay for their whole show. Loved their retro selection and personal spin. It was busy and happening but not packed. No wait for cocktails, room to hang out, and plenty of dancing. $5 cover was a bargain. Nice to have music that rocks and plays past 11 pm. The Gator Club certainly provides a rare and needed service to the Sarasota community and I thank them. Running a 2 AM dance club with live music (and DJ upstairs) can’t be easy. It gives service industry folk a chance to enjoy weekends as well. Almost every other place is empty and closed before midnight.
