Loved this house, a perfect island paradise. The hosts were awesome and super helpful, we had an issue with the TV not working and they came over to fix it right away. Can’t wait to stay there again the next time we visit AMI

Property was fantastic. Very clean and had everything we needed for a few days on the island. The pool area great. Bedrooms, bathrooms were all clean. And bonus, close to everything! We’d definitely return to this house.

By far the best beach house we’ve stayed in. This is our 7th-8th consecutive year staying at a beach house in Florida (2nd in Anna Maria specifically) and this house surpassed our expectations. The house layout and room sizes were amazing, the closeness to the beach was great, they had a beach chairs, a cart, beach toys. The umbrellas were both broken but not a dealbreaker. The division between the master bedroom and the rest of the house was very nice. The covered pool was comfortable although the pool had wayyy too many chemicals the whole week we were there (but again, not a dealbreaker). Management (Ruth) was very nice and responsive to all my questions and we were even allowed to check in a couple hours early. Kitchen was well stocked, lots of towels, bed sheets, bed covers, etc. cleanliness was not immaculate but fine for a beach house that was going to get dirty the first day anyways.

The location was excellent since it was right across the street from the beach and the Sandbar! The kitchen was well equipped! Only problem we had was the microwave quit working the day we got there! There was a 2nd one in the master bedroom and bath that we were able to use! We also discovered we only had 1 garbage bag so be sure and bring some! Dish soap and paper products were plentiful but there is no soap or shampoo etc supplied in the bathrooms! You just never know for sure what you are gonna need ! So we just made a quick trip to the store! It was a great weekend and would consider staying there again!

Con's:small thin towels in twin room were not nearly adequate for teenagers, sheets/pillowcases were mismatched in couple of the bedrooms, shower faucet didn't work in queen bedroom leading to cold/lukewam shower (notified property manager however was not able to be fixed until after we left), twin mattresses were not comfortable, pillows could use a refresh, extra blankets left in closets were folded up with no indication that they had been washed between guests, extra things in closets such as furniture and a whole ton of previous guest sand toys and water toys in the pool room all stuffed into a broken beach wagon making it feel very "lived in", no consistent wifi down in the pool area to make TV work as there was no remote, all cable boxes unplugged and tv's took near 30 min to load during march madness, fan in the extra room off of king room rattled and both that fan and the fan in the king room had no speeds to choose from (pull string missing), no extra trash bags and no dishwasher soap in the unit to run d/w as instructed. Overall stay was 6-7/10. We are seasoned travelers with our family and all felt that with not much additional effort and a few small changes this unit would have scored an 8-9/10!

When we first arrived trash was overflowing so there was not anywhere to put trash. There was no remote to the pool area for music or tv. Also heated pool was cold, yes we paid extra for the heated pool but it wAs not warm unfortunately.
The location was amazing and really most other things were very good…. We would recommend but ask questions on those events

We sincerely apologize for the issues with the trash. - The TV remote is located inside the TV cover in the pool area. We are sorry to hear this was not available during your stay and will take a look into locating the missing remote. - Our pool is heated with a fee and needs the required time to heat to get to the temperature of 86 degrees Celsius. We were notified you desired the pool to be heated the day before arrival which was not enough time to have the pool heat quickly. We apologize you were unable to enjoy our pool, but happy to hear you enjoyed the rest of your stay. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

This home is wonderful! Plenty of space and everything we needed to enjoy the area and each other’s company. Perfect location! Super close to the beach, restaurants, and the free trolley stop. The pool area is great! The extra refrigerator downstairs meant we could stay close to cold beverages and snacks while poolside. And, watching tv while bobbing around in the pool was a real luxury. Simply wonderful in every way!!

This place was amazing! Everything was very clean, plenty of room to spread out. The pool was heated and just perfect. Only a block from the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. We hope to come back!

Can’t beat location! Very clean! Walking distance to everything. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of space. Great pool - we opted to have pool heated - great decision for us. Management Co was very responsive with our questions. Plenty of room for all of us - however, listing states 2 king beds but there was only one. Based on one previous review we knew to bring extra beach towels. Could use some updates with pillows & linens. Overall fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Location awesome!!! We walked everywhere. The pool was very big and amazing. We loved our stay for the most part.
Just a few things that disappointed us:
The towels were thin and old.
The floors were pretty dirty. Especially the grout in the kitchen.
One of the toilets was not clean despite the sanitize strip on it.
The sheets were microfiber. They were very hot.
The pillows were not very nice.
Only a few dishwasher pods were provided. We left a bag of pods there for the next guests.
Overall I think the house needs a really good deep clean. With some updated linens, towels, and pillows this would be a five star!!

Great location! Everything we needed was at the house. It’s a very short walk to the beach. Ruth was very responsive and friendly when needed. Loved our time on AMI and can’t wait to come back next year.

House was very big with lots of places to sleep. We were worried about parking because we drove separately but 4 cars could fit comfortably in the driveway and lots of parking was nearby. Great master bedroom. Very short walk from the beach, Ginnie and Janies for breakfast, ice cream, Poppos, donut experiment, etc. Would 100% stay here again for the price. Some minor complaints like the pool being shaded and therefore very cold. Also, the floors were pretty dirty upon arrival and the vacuum did not work.

When we first arrived trash was overflowing so there was not anywhere to put trash. There was no remote to the pool area for music or tv. Also heated pool was cold, yes we paid extra for the heated pool but it wAs not warm unfortunately.
The location was amazing and really most other things were very good…. We would recommend but ask questions on those events

We sincerely apologize for the issues with the trash. - The TV remote is located inside the TV cover in the pool area. We are sorry to hear this was not available during your stay and will take a look into locating the missing remote. - Our pool is heated with a fee and needs the required time to heat to get to the temperature of 86 degrees Celsius. We were notified you desired the pool to be heated the day before arrival which was not enough time to have the pool heat quickly. We apologize you were unable to enjoy our pool, but happy to hear you enjoyed the rest of your stay. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

The property itself was great for the five of us and at no point did it feel crowded. The property is broken into 2 different units which for us worked great. The main unit has a family room and kitchen. The TV has great cable service which allows you to choose channels via the guide option. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed including a half way decent frying pan which is rare. Coffee filters were included along with sponges, trash bags, ,soap and paper towels. Off the family room is a covered front porch that runs along the front of the house. Moving to the back of the main unit was a full bath, a bedroom with 2 single beds and another bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. As you move to the back of the unit you exit out a door that is locked with a deadbolt and into a covered open area. You then unlock the next unit to get into the master suite which is a room off that includes a day bed. We wanted the privacy so we didn't let anyone stay in that room since there is only a closet door separating the two rooms. The master suite has a king bed that was super comfortable and an amazing master bath with a lot of room. Underneath the master suite was a heated pool which you could access through the open area between the front and back unit. They have a gas grill and a charcoal grill. The gas grill didn't have a grill grate so it wasn't useable. We opted to have the pool heated but for the week that we were there it just couldn't keep up over the cold air, not a big deal because it was just too cold for us to swim anyway (it was in the 60's, low 70's). I would say the water was in the high 70's so warm enough for young children who can brave anything. This was our first trip to AMI and if we came back I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!!

This was the perfect place for our girls (6 of us) getaway! Close to shops, delicious restaurants and the beach! The sleeping arrangements worked & it was nice having 3 bathrooms! Kitchen was fully equipped, loved the porch balcony, and the pool was amazing!! We had a wonderful time!!

Kids loved the pool and everything about this stay. 8 and 6 year old and infant. Be sure to pack a pack n play for baby if needed.

The house was great, I love the separate master suite, private pool. The location was perfect, once we arrived we didn’t have to get in the car to go anywhere. The beach, restaurants and shopping were in walking distance.

The front porch was another favorite place of ours. Some more cleaning products and seasonings would be helpful. Over all this was a very nice house and you get what the pictures show. Will definitely stay here again!

AMI Du Soleil is such a wonderful location. Our stay was during a terrible red tide, which obviously couldn't be avoided, so we spent much time at the house than we ordinarily would have. One thing that everyone in our group noticed, is that, despite really enjoying everything, there were areas that could have been cleaner.

We took out numerous items from the kitchen cabinets which were dirty. Some pans and baking sheets even had baked on chunks of food. Another issue we had was with the doors - the door from the main house to the screened porch was very difficult to open. The sliding door in the secondary quarters are just plain dangerous if touched. They were to shaky to be closed, and if opened more than half way exposed sharp, plastic pieces from the floor which were a major foot hazard. The lights in the kitchen we're sagging and also looked like they needed some care.

Despite these small issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was lovely.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained and spacious. The separate room and kitchenette gave us extra living space. We all enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the beach.

AMI Du Soleil is such a wonderful location. Our stay was during a terrible red tide, which obviously couldn't be avoided, so we spent much time at the house than we ordinarily would have. One thing that everyone in our group noticed, is that, despite really enjoying everything, there were areas that could have been cleaner.

We took out numerous items from the kitchen cabinets which were dirty. Some pans and baking sheets even had baked on chunks of food. Another issue we had was with the doors - the door from the main house to the screened porch was very difficult to open. The sliding door in the secondary quarters are just plain dangerous if touched. They were to shaky to be closed, and if opened more than half way exposed sharp, plastic pieces from the floor which were a major foot hazard. The lights in the kitchen we're sagging and also looked like they needed some care.

Despite these small issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was lovely.

This house has everything you will need. The pictures don’t do it justice. I’ve stayed in many houses on the island and will choose this one again. The only downfall is if you have older guests that struggle with stairs. You must go up and down a flight of stairs to get in and out. We never had a problem with that and had plenty of space with 6 of us staying there.
