What Our Guests Are Saying
Amazing location
As many other guests have stated, this location is ideal. We were able to walk to everywhere because everything is so close…stores, restaurants and the beach. It is literally all right there. The property itself was great for the five of us and at no point did it feel crowded. The property is broken into 2 different units which for us worked great. The main unit has a family room and kitchen. The TV has great cable service which allows you to choose channels via the guide option. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed including a half way decent frying pan which is rare. Coffee filters were included along with sponges, trash bags, ,soap and paper towels. Off the family room is a covered front porch that runs along the front of the house. Moving to the back of the main unit was a full bath, a bedroom with 2 single beds and another bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. As you move to the back of the unit you exit out a door that is locked with a deadbolt and into a covered open area. You then unlock the next unit to get into the master suite which is a room off that includes a day bed. We wanted the privacy so we didn’t let anyone stay in that room since there is only a closet door separating the two rooms. The master suite has a king bed that was super comfortable and an amazing master bath with a lot of room. Underneath the master suite was a heated pool which you could access through the open area between the front and back unit. They have a gas grill and a charcoal grill. The gas grill didn’t have a grill grate so it wasn’t useable. We opted to have the pool heated but for the week that we were there it just couldn’t keep up over the cold air, not a big deal because it was just too cold for us to swim anyway (it was in the 60’s, low 70’s). I would say the water was in the high 70’s so warm enough for young children who can brave anything. This was our first trip to AMI and if we came back I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!!

This lovely property was everything we could have asked for. It slept seven adults easily with privacy as needed. Great tables inside and out to accommodate my six siblings. The pool was large and water delightful. This location was fabulous; a quieter end of the island and we could walk everywhere. The beach was a block away to see beautiful sunsets. I highly recommend this property.
To the owner’s: Only disappointment was an empty propane tank so unable to grill our prepared food at the last minute. Easily remedied.

The location was absolutely perfect for a beach house, one street off of the main shopping road and a 3 min walk to the beach! I love that it was one of the older houses on AMI, you get a better feel for the old island rather than the new huge mansions that have taken over. The only thing we would complain about is the lack of garbage bags and very few beach towels. Otherwise it was a perfect weekend!!

This was the perfect place for our girls (6 of us) getaway! Close to shops, delicious restaurants and the beach! The sleeping arrangements worked & it was nice having 3 bathrooms! Kitchen was fully equipped, loved the porch balcony, and the pool was amazing!! We had a wonderful time!!

Kids loved the pool and everything about this stay. 8 and 6 year old and infant. Be sure to pack a pack n play for baby if needed.

The house was great, I love the separate master suite, private pool. The location was perfect, once we arrived we didn’t have to get in the car to go anywhere. The beach, restaurants and shopping were in walking distance.

We loved the location of this house. Only a walk or bike ride away from the beach, tons of restaurants, and shopping. We liked the screened in pool, as we noticed the bugs didn’t bother us. The pool being half covered was surprisingly a perk to us because a couple of days it rained and we still were able to swim. It also provided cover if we just wanted to be out of the sun at times. The front porch was another favorite place of ours. Some more cleaning products and seasonings would be helpful. Over all this was a very nice house and you get what the pictures show. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved the location of this house. Only a walk or bike ride away from the beach, tons of restaurants, and shopping. We liked the screened in pool, as we noticed the bugs didn’t bother us. The pool being half covered was surprisingly a perk to us because a couple of days it rained and we still were able to swim. It also provided cover if we just wanted to be out of the sun at times. The front porch was another favorite place of ours. Some more cleaning products and seasonings would be helpful. Over all this was a very nice house and you get what the pictures show. Will definitely stay here again!

The house is in the perfect location and very comfortable
This house has everything you will need. The pictures don’t do it justice. I’ve stayed in many houses on the island and will choose this one again. The only downfall is if you have older guests that struggle with stairs. You must go up and down a flight of stairs to get in and out. We never had a problem with that and had plenty of space with 6 of us staying there.
