Loved looking out the back window towards the lake and seeing all of the colors of the leaves on the trees. The hot tub was amazing and was nice to enjoy after our hikes. The house was very roomy for us and awesome to be able to cook dinners. The beds were comfortable and the location worked out for us to use the house as home base and drive to Honesdale, Hawley, Jim Thorpe and the Delaware Water Gap. Two thumbs up for this rental!!

The location was very peaceful and the house was just as pictured/described. The only issue with our stay was cleanliness. There was a lot of dust/pet hair and it almost seemed like they had painted and didn’t really clean the floors. There was also a musty smell throughout the house (most noticeable in the basement and least noticeable on the top floor). The first floor bathroom had a noticeable smell also not sure if a plumbing issue or water damage. Also the sheets/bedding had a lot dog/human hair in them. I’m not a clean freak by any means and understand the musty smell because of the proximity to water. But the dust and hair in the sheets was hard to get past. Especially considering the cost of the cleaning fee.
I understand the cleaning fee is to clean after our stay but you expect to have the same level of cleanliness upon arrival. But overall loved the place and enjoyed our stay!

The views were amazing, you can see the lake from every room in the house! The privacy and isolation was exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend this rental.

I would describe this property as a very nice no frills type of place. It’s clean and funtional. It was difficult to find the parking in the dark. Other than that no complaints. I did have an issue with the lock but Christianne was very quick and responsive with getting the issue resolved.

The A frame is very cute and clean. Beautiful view…
The A frame is very cute and clean. Beautiful view of the lake. The area is little remote but we liked, quiet and secluded. Driving through the woods on a dirt road leads to the house, very cool but require a SUV. The house has everything we needed except the volume on the TV in the family room downstairs doesn’t work. So we can’t watch any news or football. But not a big deal since we’re preoccupied by many other activities. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would like to come back during summer to enjoy more on the lakes.

Our stay with Stay Dream Vacations at Lakefront Escape was absolutely amazing. Everything was exactly as described. The house was perfect for our birthday and retirement celebration with family of all ages. There was plenty of room inside and out. The inside was very comfortable and had all the amenities you can need. Plenty of room to prepare food, eat as a large group, and relax in the living room having laughs. The outside was extremely serine, with plenty of space to sit and relax and enjoy the quiet, throw in a fishing line, kayak the beautiful lake, then sit by the fire at night. Stay Dream Vacations stayed in touch checking in to make sure everything was up to our expectations, and also giving recommendations for local things to do if we were interested. We can’t wait to go back again. One guest even wants to make it a yearly event! Five stars all around.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful house and we were not disappointed. This home is beautiful and cozy and extremely clean. The owners are wonderful to work with and extremely responsive. We had one small issue no fault of the owners and they responded immediately and helped us out. Once again we had a perfect stay

Toward the end of the week the house filled up with my brother and his wife, my niece, husband and baby and their dog. The house was able to accomodate everyone with their own space while not being cramped. Everyone was free to do what they wanted on the lake. The weather was perfect for August.
